About our external businesses
The student union has three external activities, Café Mitum, The Student Union House Origo and the Career Day fair Uniaden. These are meant to make your study time as good as possible, you can read more about them below.
The Student Union runs a café, Mitum, located in the heart of the MIT-building. Mitum serves lunch daily and is the ideal place for a cup of coffee between lectures.

Origo is a natural meeting place for students on campus. On weekdays the student union house is used as a study place and there is of course wireless internet. On Tuesdays, we organise the After-Plus-Pub (EPP), which is a pub night with good food and a nice atmosphere. If you can’t get enough of that, there are nightclub activities on Friday and Saturday nights.
The motto “by students, for students” permeates all of Origo’s activities. All the staff at Origo work voluntarily to ensure that you can buy food and drinks at student-friendly prices and that you have a pleasant study time.
You and your friends are warmly welcome to the student union house Origo, whether you want to eat, party or enjoy the community and atmosphere that Origo can offer. You are of course also welcome to start working at Origo, whether you want to stand at the bar, cook or DJ. No prior knowledge is required, we will teach you everything you need. You can read more about Origo here.
Uniaden works to give students the best possible conditions to get where they want to go. We do this by creating and developing meeting places where people, for today and in the future, can build rewarding relationships and develop on a personal level. These meeting places include the Labour Market Fair in January, Wake up with Uniaden, EPPs, Coffee race, Contact dialogues, the Dating a Director competition and Event Week. Uniaden is a non-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. If you want to be part of our work, or have questions and concerns about what we do. Contact the Uniaden project manager at projektledare@uniaden.com or check the Uniaden website.
